Equitable is looking for a dynamic Dynamic Skills Lab team member to join our team! You will join a develop content and curricula aligned to three pillars: leadership development, business acumen and NWOW skills to selectively train and drive employee development with proprietary intellectual property.

In this role you will work 2-3 days per week in office and 2-3 days per week remotely.

Role Description

The successful candidate will join the Dynamic Skills Lab Team, one of several teams within the Innovation & Design Office. The mission of the Innovation and Design Office is to increase the metabolism of the enterprise by fundamentally changing the way we think, work and lead as an organization. This includes guiding and executing on Equitable's end-to-end approach to learning, development, talent strategy, innovation strategy and process improvement leveraging Equitable's New Ways of Working (NWOW). The team will develop content and curricula aligned to three pillars: leadership development, business acumen and NWOW skills to selectively train and drive employee development with proprietary intellectual property.

The individual will partner with senior stakeholders to problem-solve, design and develop measurable and impactful data-driven solutions. To succeed in this role, the team member will need to be able to work independently but also collaborate with and lead others, thrive in an ambiguous environment and have a relentless focus on outcomes. They will be a builder with low-ego, energized by the challenges that come with creating new things.

Key responsibilities:
  • Create official Equitable content and curriculum for leadership development, business acumen and NWOW skills targeted toward unique employee segments
  • Deliver training and facilitate group learning sessions
  • Convert content into multimedia forms to deliver modular, on-demand learning
  • Support content adaptation or new content creation for enterprise programs, leveraging data
  • Continually assess enterprise skill acquisition, leveraging data to measure success
  • Serve as a thought partner on strategy with business and functional area leaders

We are looking for a future leader who has strong skills, understands the financial services space-specifically, the Retirement and Asset Management industries-is comfortable interacting with executives and is excited to work through Agile principles & practices.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-profile, dynamic environment and must be willing to support various projects, often simultaneously.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA / BS required
  • 3 years of financial services industry experience
  • 2 years working in an NWOW-like culture (Agile work management, Design Thinking problem solving, OKR goal setting, Adaptive Leadership, Process reengineering)
  • Firm grasp of financial services industry business acumen
  • Experience building training curricula from scratch
  • 2 years developing training curricula and delivering through group facilitation
  • 2 years delivering learning and development training

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expert in all facets of NWOW (see above) and career models
  • Experience training and coaching people in business acumen, leadership development or NWOW concepts
  • Experience working with subject matter experts and leaders, to develop learning content
  • Experience in on-demand learning content creation tools, Synthesia, Articulate 360, Vyond, or equivalent
  • Experience hosting and publishing learning content in an LMS (Oracle Learn) or SharePoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex topics logically and succinctly
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and good judgment
