The Brand Strategy & Agency role is responsible for developing and executing a multi-channel client strategy that integrates fully with broader brand and business objectives through a unified Equitable "voice" that comes to life through content across client life-stages and in partnership with commercial business unit marketing teams. This role oversees marketing through content, digital, media, and strategic partnerships to ensure a client-first, needs-centered framework for messaging, prioritization, and personalization. This role will spearhead brand strategy, brand management , and brand compliance across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with business goals. Further, this role will manage creative agency workflows across internal and external agencies, event planning, and tradeshow efforts while fostering innovation and maintaining compliance.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Design, build and articulate brand strategy for Equitable brands including differentiated positioning and messaging leveraging partnerships with key stakeholders in Marketing and across the Equitable enterprise

• Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports and extends business growth and drives stakeholder awareness, consideration, engagement, retention, and sales through end-to-end integrated marketing in partnership with Marketing Line of Business Leads

• Lead and scale internal agency and events team as well as external agency relationships to execute best-in-class creative and cost efficiency in support of brand prominence, Marketing Line of Business initiatives and enterprise needs.

• Design and execute thought leadership strategy that is fully aligned to business line strategy and integrated into marketing plans in partnership with the Marketing Line of Business Leads

• Lead media strategy and planning across target audiences and channels including driving innovation to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of earned, owned and paid media.

• Leverage thought leadership to inform and create media strategy for enterprise beyond earned media

• Leverage competitive intelligence from the intelligence team to make informed decisions around brand, messaging and thought leadership development

• Oversee brand execution, management and compliance to ensure brand strategy is adopted, implemented and adhered to

• Inform brand success measure through benchmarks, tracking and analysis

• Develop innovative digital platforms that engage and resonate with current and prospective audiences

• Manage Equitable's internal and external client facing websites ensuring information is updated and is in-line with brand

• Track and manage website analytics and utilize insights to enhance user experience, attraction and adoption

• Drive event planning and tradeshow efforts across the enterprise with a heavy focus on lines of business fostering innovation and advancing the brand

• Deploy expert change management, communication, and collaboration skills to develop and implement a compelling, singular vision for client experience.

The total targeted compensation range for this position is $307,000 - $430,000. Total compensation varies based on skills, experience, geographical location and other factors.

Qualifications

• A highly creative strategist with extensive experience in customer insights and segmentation, digital platforms and tools, and multichannel marketing campaigns.

• An established expert in a wide range of financial services products, advisory services, and the consumer and competitive landscape

• Someone who has demonstrated the ability to balance industry-leading innovation with a compelling, achievable change agenda

• Working knowledge of traditional and emerging media channels

• A creative vision to develop innovative brand experiences and campaigns that capture attention

• Understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and industry best practices in branding, media and marketing

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment building strong relationships and partnerships across various stakeholders

• Excellent storytelling and communication skills to articulate brand vision, build compelling narratives, and collaborate effectively with teams

• A strong understanding of brand identity, messaging, and visual design principles.

• Ability to effectively convey brand standards and compliance information to various stakeholders

Channel Marketing: Knowledge of various channel marketing strategies and solutions used to carry out a marketing plan; ability to promote a hospitality organization's brand, products, and services through multiple and diverse avenues.

Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.

Knowledge of Customers: Knowledge of various types of customers and ability to analyze customer activities, profiles and information.

Marketing Strategy and Positioning: Knowledge of market research, segmentation, and channels; ability to use business models to develop and implement marketing strategies, objectives, and tactics as well as establishing a communications plan.

Results Orientation: Knowledge of the importance of meeting or exceeding established targets; ability to drive critical activities to completion.
