We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join the General Account (GA) Investment team to support the day-to-day operations and analytical functions across a broad range of investment strategies for the General Account . The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members, external investment managers, and cross-functional partners to support for the day-to-day investment activity, portfolio monitoring, and reporting efforts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to.

• Prepare and maintain investment dashboards and reports to track investment exposures, investment activity, performance tracking, portfolio and risk analytics, etc.

• Assist in onboarding new investments, managers, and strategies, including documentation, system setup, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

• Support development and implementation of investment guidelines

• Collaborate with accounting, treasury and external managers to ensure investment data accuracy and integrity.

• Prepare investment committee memos, board presentations, regulator and/or rating agency materials.

• Provide ad-hoc analytical and reporting support to the investment and operations team.

In office schedule: This team member will be working in the office 2-3 days/week.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$150,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Finance and/or Economics

• 2 years of asset management or other financial services experience with knowledge of core insurance asset classes and investment analytics framework.

• Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail.

• A collaborative mindset and a sense of ownership and accountability.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or CFA

• Working knowledge of portfolio management systems (Aladdin, Clearwater, Bloomberg)

Skills

Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Investments: Knowledge of the investments business; ability to analyze and evaluate asset types, market and industry trends, major issues, and regulatory considerations.

Investment Operations Management: Knowledge of investment operations management; ability to effectively and efficiently manage investment operations through various investment operations principles, procedures, and techniques.

Portfolio Management: Knowledge of investment portfolios; ability to utilize relevant tools and techniques in managing clients' securities investments.
