We are seeking a highly motivated investment professional to join the General Account ("GA") Investment team to support our $4B alternatives portfolio. This role will focus on private equity, private credit, infrastructure and real estate strategies, with responsibilities spanning investment diligence, execution and portfolio management. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the investment strategy and driving performance across a diversified alternatives portfolio .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and support private markets investment activities across private equity, credit, infrastructure, real estate.

• Conduct market research on investment strategies and comprehensive due diligence on existing/prospective fund managers.

• Support new investment origination and pipeline management.

• Lead execution of new investments, including structuring, negotiation, and documentation, working in partnership with legal, risk and other internal stakeholders.

• Monitor and manage the existing portfolio, including performance tracking, exposure analysis, income projection and other ad hoc analysis.

• Prepare and present investment recommendation to GA Investment Committee.

• Represent the firm at Advisory Boards, industry conferences, and ILPA events.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with risk, treasury, accounting, and legal teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of results.

In office schedule: This team member will be working in the office 2-3 days/week.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000-$180,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Finance and/or Economics

• 5 years of relevant investment experience, ideally with exposure to multiple private market asset classes.

• Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Bloomberg, Aladdin; experience with private market investment systems (e.g. Cobalt, eFront, Clearwater LPx) a plus.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• A collaborative mindset and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Experience with insurance company investment frameworks and regulatory considerations (e.g., NAIC, US GAAP, Solvency II).

Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Investment Performance Measurement: Knowledge of investment performance measurement; ability to utilize a variety of methods to measure the investment performance on a particular portfolio against industry benchmarks and related parameters.

Investments: Knowledge of the investments business; ability to analyze and evaluate asset types, market and industry trends, major issues, and regulatory considerations.

Portfolio Management: Knowledge of investment portfolios; ability to utilize relevant tools and techniques in managing clients' securities investments.
