Equitable is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our organization as a Manager in the IT Pillar of the Financial Controls Office (FCO). In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of our ICFR program to ensure its effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment with industry best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across key IT and Business areas to identify and implement process improvements, enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls, and drive organizational change to achieve a streamlined and sustainable control environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the planning and execution of key ICFR program activities including SOX and MAR scoping, end-to end process and control walkthroughs, and documentation management

• Partner closely with process owners across IT, Operations, Finance and other departments to ensure sufficient understanding and documentation of their internal control environment and IT dependencies

• Serve as a key liaison between IT process and control owners and internal and external auditors to ensure alignment on ICFR compliance requirements

• Assist in the design, implementation, and automation of key IT process controls to meet current and future risk mitigation objectives

• Assist in the successful identification and remediation of IT control issues across in-scope business areas including execution monitoring and documentation management

• Support the successful delivery of multiple complex programs according to measures of time, budget, scope, quality and relationship

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $74,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology

• 2 years related audit and IT controls experience, with public accounting or consulting experience preferred

• Experience with SOX audit engagements including ITGCs, ITDCs, automated controls and CUECs

• Experience with applying appropriate control frameworks (COSO, COBIT, etc.)

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting deadlines and priorities under limited supervision in a fast- paced and dynamic environment

• Demonstrated ability to foster positive working relationships within their team and across the Organization

Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.

Data Gathering and Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques and processes; ability to gather and analyze data on the learning needs of a target population.

Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
