Equitable's Talent team is looking for a human resources professional who will provide operational management of our critical talent functions and contribute to our overall Talent and Employee Experience Strategy.

What you'll do

  • This role also works closely with internal HR partners and stakeholders to consult on talent management needs and measure impact on business results
  • Client-aligned talent management support for our Governance functions (Legal, Audit, Finance, COO)
  • Work to create and facilitate innovative and engaging talent management solutions
  • Participate in design and development of Talent Management courses, programs, or resources
  • Assist in evaluating and delivering insights related to the effectiveness of the organization's talent strategies
  • Provide objective insights on development opportunities and strengths of key talent segments
  • Serve as facilitator and/or producer for virtual training sessions or meetings related to Talent Management programs
  • Design presentations that effectively engage and communicate with all audiences
  • Contribute to team objectives and key results (OKRs) and help create a clear roadmap to crafting and executing on the team's initiatives

The base salary range for this position is $87,000 - $130,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of prior experience in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Direct experience with talent management programs
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Creative, innovative, strategic thinker who has designed ways to improve company talent processes and initiatives
  • Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization
  • Understanding of the value of aligning team capabilities with business goals and ability to develop staff, processes and operational relationships that support optimal performance
  • PHR Certification
  • SHRM Certification
  • Experience in the financial or insurance industry

Skills:

Talent Management: Knowledge of the critical competencies required to achieve intended results; ability to generate consistent approaches for hiring, selection, retaining and leveraging talent across the organization.

Organizational Change Management: Knowledge of key roles, activities and major issues affecting change management; ability to align the organization's people and culture with changes in business strategy, organizational structure, technology and business processes.

Program Management: Knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control the set of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives.

Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
