- With this internship, individuals will obtain a comprehensive view across the company and assist in meeting Company objectives spanning various subject matters.
- Equitable Audit Services (EAS) provides independent and objective assurance and advisory consulting services through a highly competent and diverse team. As a business partner, EAS assists management by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach in evaluating and improving the Company's risk management, control, and governance processes.
- The intern's key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in audit activities including discussions and inquiries to our business partners, identification and understanding of risk and controls, development and completion of testing, and the communication of results.
- Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing including updates to process documentation, completion of testing, and communication of results.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives in the Department.
Internship Details
- Hourly rate: $22/hour
- Dates: June 3, 2024 - August 2, 2024
- Location: Charlotte, NC or Syracuse, NY
- Work Environment: In office 2-3 days/week
- Rising senior working towards four-year undergraduate degree or graduate student
- Course work in Accounting, Analytics, Technology, or other Business-related areas
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work the full duration of the program
