Equitable Advisors is seeking a detail-oriented/multi-tasking Exam Prep Coordinator. This individual will join a team of talented individuals to support complexes, branches, and district managers with exam prep for their new licensing candidates. The Exam Prep Coordinator will act as a resource for financial professional candidates in their state insurance and FINRA qualification examination process. Aligning with branch and district management in communicating the progress of candidates as they progress through the exam preparation process. Acting as a go-to resource for candidates and coordinating with the onboarding specialist to ensure a streamline onboarding experience for candidates .
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate with Exam Prep vendors
- Track candidate progress and report to managers weekly
- Answer candidate questions and refer them to resources
- Provide best practices for studying
- Track, analyze, report data (pass rates, time spent studying, etc.
This position offers a remote work schedule that allows you to stay fully engaged with your team to provide outstanding, customer‑focused service during our core hours (8:30 AM-5:30 PM EST). Periodic office visits may be requested based on business needs.
The base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong technical aptitude - (familiarity with Smartsheet is preferred!)
- Ability to work closely with district managers and complex leadership
- Ability to function independently and work well with a team
- Proactive decision-making skills
- Strong ability to collaborate
- Strong communication skills
- Can organize tasks and prioritize
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Knows how to guide people thru a process
- Displays good judgment & partners where necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of work experience in professional environment with a customer service focus.
- Knowledge of state licensing requirements
- Knowledge of FINRA licensing requirements (SIE, Series 7, Series 6, Series 63, Series 66)
- Strong project management and follow-up capabilities
- Positive attitude and drive for excellence
- Experience with FINRA examination preparation
- FINRA SIE, and Series 7 a plus
- Research and data gathering ability
- Analytical skills
Skills
Document Management: Knowledge of document management; ability to categorize, integrate, update, document and distribute business information in a secure, effective way.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
