External Description: Thank you for your interest in a position with Equitable.

Incumbent will be a member of the Equitable's Employee Benefits Installation team responsible for the timely and accurate implementation of each client, as well as actively assisting with the development and refinement of the overall implementation process. The incumbent will be primarily focused on our small market clients in the following capacities:

• Supporting the Installations team with all tasks, including customizing employer applications, following up on missing requirements, validating all employer and employee-level data, partnering with the Underwriting and Distribution to process any necessary plan updates, etc.

• Assisting with the generation and distribution of customized benefit summaries, rate grids, approval letters, and other documents provided during implementation.

• Maintaining acceptable production turnaround times, tracking the progress of each installation in CRM, and providing a status whenever requested.

• Providing information to external partners regarding product-specific features, system access and administration, and may provide technical training to the client if needed.

• Training escalations and seeing them through to resolution.

• Interacting with internal Equitable teams (Sales Executive, RAM, Operations, Configuration, IT) to ensure each group is implemented accurately within all the various systems and documents.

• Cross training with various departments to improve the overall client experience as volumes increase and workloads shift (Customer Service, Amendment Processing, Quality Review)Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 years of group insurance experience with knowledge of Life/AD&D, Dental, Vision, Short and Long-Term Disability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • North Carolina Life and Health Insurance License Preferred or be willing to obtain within 3 months from date of hire.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple installations and clients at a time, while paying strict attention to detail, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Incumbent will have ability to operate in a challenging and fast-paced team environment, adjusting quickly to change.
  • Incumbent will possess a high level of reliability, responsibility, and organization.
  • Foreign language speaking (e.g., Spanish) incumbent a plus.
